Lurid Cupola Moss
2022
Lurid Cupola-Moss (Cinclidium stygium) is a species of moss belonging to the family Mniaceae.

From the British Bryological Society:

“A rich-fen species of calcareous but nutrient-poor mires, occurring both in lowland calcareous fens and in upland flushes and turfy seepages. It favours low, open lawns, including stony and sedge-rich flushes, but may persist in taller vegetation, for example among bog-bean in fens.”

This piece isn’t really about moss, but the trio do use exclusively natural harmonics or open strings throughout - a similar lack of roots.
